Мы на опушке леса. Это самая красивая поляна, поскольку сюда часто проникает яркое солнышко и это помогает цвести разным растениям, которые являются большими потребителями солнечного света. Но сейчас на опушке темновато и потому у нас есть возможность, разглядеть полотно не щуря глаз. А тут есть всё многообразие лесной растительности.
В первую очередь-трава, она тут представлена в разных оттенках: от тёмно-зелёной до светло-жёлтой. То есть мы можем предположить, что попали в августовский лес. Крона на деревьях – тёмно-зелёная, насыщенная. Сквозь деревья, кстати, видна ещё одна поляна, которая озарена солнцем. То есть, на небе наверняка уже бродят осенние тучки. И всё это не застывшая картинка на холсте. Всё это как бы дышит, ощущение такое, что всё это наполнено жизненной энергией.
Шишкин обладал таким талантом, которому дано не каждому художнику. Даже простую вещь, пусть неоживлённую, он мог оживить и сделать нечто потрясающее на полотне – заставить поверить, что она движется. Конечно, это чисто визуальный эффект, наше воображение, но какой силы! Наверно именно поэтому полотна художника до сих пор настолько популярны, что уже даже дети и те, могут легко угадать автора. А это уже признание, которого с лихвой хватало автору при жизни и теперь сторицей приходит поле его ухода.

We are at the edge of the forest. This is the most beautiful clearing, because the bright sun often penetrates here and it helps different plants to bloom, which are large consumers of sunlight. But now it's a little dark on the edge of the forest, and therefore we have the opportunity to see the canvas without squinting our eyes. And here there is all the variety of forest vegetation.
First of all-grass, it is presented here in different shades: from dark green to light yellow. That is, we can assume that we got into the August forest. The crown on the trees is dark green, saturated. By the way, another clearing is visible through the trees, which is illuminated by the sun. That is, autumn clouds are probably already wandering in the sky. And all this is not a frozen picture on the canvas. All this seems to be breathing, the feeling is that all this is filled with vital energy.
Shishkin had such a talent, which is not given to every artist. Even a simple thing, even if it was not alive, he could bring to life and do something amazing on the canvas – make it believe that it was moving. Of course, this is a purely visual effect, our imagination, but what power! Probably that is why the artist's paintings are still so popular that even children and those can easily guess the author. And this is already a recognition, which was more than enough for the author during his lifetime and now the field of his departure comes a hundredfold.
